Anything you keep an eye on

Sources, notes and an assistant side by side. Find in all panes searches them all at once, and saved links keep your reading list.

Three steps to a grid

  1. Pick a layout

Pick a layout and adjust to your liking.

  2. Give it a profile

A profile is a named login of its own, so your work and personal accounts can sit side by side.

  3. Save the grid

Grids open like tabs, keep playing in the background, and come back after a restart.

Questions

What is Riftway for?

It shows several live websites side by side in one window, arranged as a grid of panes. People use it to keep AI assistants side by side, and for dashboards, inboxes, research and news walls.

How does the free trial work?

The first time you open Riftway you get 7 days of full Pro. There’s no card, no sign-up and no key. When the 7 days are up it becomes Free. Nothing is deleted: grids in Pro layouts are kept, and shown locked until you upgrade.

Will my favorite site work in a pane?

Each pane is a full browser page, not a frame, so sites that refuse to load inside other apps load normally, and sites see a pane as Chrome. The trial is the easiest way to try the sites you use; if one doesn’t work, tell us at [email protected].

What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

Free gives you 4 live panes, four layouts (up to 2 × 2), 2 profiles, 2 saved grids and 25 saved links. Pro removes those limits and adds all nine layouts, faster auto-refresh and grid import. Compare the plans.

Can I use my key on more than one computer?

Yes, on up to 3 of your computers, Mac or Windows. To move it, open Settings on a computer you no longer use and choose Deactivate.

What does Riftway know about my browsing?

Nothing. There’s no Riftway account, no cookies from Riftway, and nothing about what you browse ever leaves the app. The privacy policy lists everything a Riftway install sends, and when.

How does Riftway update?

Updates download in the background and install when you quit. Builds are signed, and notarized on the Mac.

Which Mac download do I need?

Most Macs from 2020 on have Apple Silicon. Open the Apple menu, then About This Mac: it shows “Chip” on Apple Silicon and “Processor” on Intel.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 30 days of buying. See the refund policy, or write to [email protected]. The help page covers license keys, cancelling and reporting a problem.
